Funny thing about this song. It came on my Avett Brothers Pandora Station this morning. The first present Kyle ever gave me was for my 26th birthday. He made me 10 mixed CDs! And this song was on one of them. 

YAY for completing the photo challenge!! Now on to March (my least fav month of the year!).

My cabinet looks a little bare. My vanity is covered in stuff (mostly make up) and then I have tons of storage under the sink. I am currently using Philosophy products for my skin care routine. I really like how they work. Just not a fan of how Hope in a Jar smells. Love the Microdelivery peel, and it smells like citrus.

I am addicted to my phone. It goes everywhere with me (even to bed). I had a Blackberry, then two years ago I got this HTC Incredible Droid, and I have loved it. However, I'm due for an upgrade next month... hello new iPhone?!

I decided to link up with Aly of analyze this and Tiffanie of Pineapples and Pickles for their Product of the Week! It is going with my addiction theme of this post. I recently purchased some products that fuel addictions :)
I'm addicted to lip stuff. Chapstick, lip balm, lip gloss, lipstick; you name it and it is probably in my bag. Literally before I started writing this I checked my bag SIX lip products!!! SIX! So what do I do? Go buy some more!

I'm also addicted to painting my nails. I hate when they chip. Drives me crazy. So I end up changing my nail polish at least twice a week. I have done the gel manicure, which I love, but it is just too expensive. So instead I keep fueling the nail polish addiction and buy new colors to try.

Photo Challenege Day 11: Makes you Happy

You might have thought that I would have put a picture of my wonderful husband up as "something that makes me happy." But there are a lot of things that make me happy and my husband is kind of a given. So this is Maddy, and she makes me sooooo happy. I have had her since 2001, and everyone that meets her loves her.

So this is my closet. Kyle has his own closet in the other room. I have my own dresser, but then I make him share his. We have too much stuff and not enough storage. When we moved in together in June we got rid of a lot, but we could still downsize more :(

This is my bridesmaids dress for my brothers wedding this May in OBX. I am the only bridesmaid, so I got to pick my own dress, I LOVE THE COLOR! I need to get it hemmed a little bit still.

So I spent my weekend on call. Friday I went to dinner with one of my girlfriends from work. We went to NONA in downtown Athens. So yummy. Delicious bread pudding!

Saturday I had to work, I was at a student leadership conference all morning/ afternoon. Kyle got sick and had to go home. So after I left the conference I had to take care of him the rest of the day. Sunday I tackled the laundry and dishes that were piling up! But I also make cake pops! And got some Valentine's day hearts for my students!

Tuesday night Kyle and I went to the ZTA Athens Alumnae Valentine's Day Dinner. I am so thankful for the women I have met in Athens through my sorority. They are all wonderful and amazing women! I didn't get any pictures AT the event (shame on me) but here I am getting ready!

I didn't get out of the building much yesterday, I've been busy at work. But I snapped this picture of students enjoying the SUN on the hill. The weather has been great the past couple of weeks, but it is getting down to the 20s this weekend. Better bundle up! Oh wait I don't have a coat.

Buns, Buttons and Best Friends!

I am so happy BUNS are like super in right now. I remember in third grade I use to demand my mom put my hair in a braided bun like everyday! I think I was going through my "ballerina" phase. I have super thick hair, and back then it was really long, straight and one length. I am happy I found this post on The Beauty Department, as another option for a bun. I think it works much better for thick hair.

Ignore the crazy fly-aways, this was pre hairspray, and yes I forced my husband to take a picture of my hair and we just happend to be in the kitchen.

Photo Challenege day 7: Button

I was surprised at how many buttons a day I actually push! From unlocking the car door, to resetting alarms I must have pushed 20 buttons this morning. BUT I love the button on the front of my bag that is for a secret pocket. 

Oh and the highlight of my day: receiving this card from one of my best friends! We have been sending cards to each other since undergrad (we are probably the only people funding USPS at this point in time!) I love her sense of humor! I hope we can plan a reunion soon!!
